Evening Light — Blockhouse Island
Soft evening light settles over the St. Lawrence River at Blockhouse Island in Brockville, Ontario. Pastel blues, pinks and warm creams stretch across the sky and reflect in the water, while the tree-lined shoreline frames the view toward the islands beyond. The gentle colour and broad open sky capture the quiet beauty of the river as daylight begins to fade.
This artwork began with my own photograph taken during a visit to Blockhouse Island, Brockville, Ont. Back in the studio, I transformed the original image through layers of digital editing and AI-assisted tools, developing its colour, texture and painterly character while preserving the story and composition of the moment I photographed.
Available in a selection of sizes to suit your space.

Why Buy From Byeutifull
This artwork began with a real photograph, taken by me.
I photograph places that catch my attention while travelling and exploring — from familiar places close to home to destinations farther away. Back in the studio, I transform selected photographs into the painterly artwork you see here.
This isn’t a stock image or a generic design selected from a catalogue. Behind all the pieces is a real place I visited, a moment I photographed, and my own interpretation of that scene.
From my camera to the finished artwork, every piece is personally created and selected by me.
How My Artwork Is Created
All of my artwork begins with a photograph I’ve taken myself.
I start with a real place I’ve visited, composing and photographing the scene through my own camera. Back in the studio, I work with that photograph through layers of digital editing and AI-assisted tools, refining colour, texture, light and detail until it becomes the finished painterly artwork you see here.
The technology is part of my creative process, but the photograph, artistic direction and final selection are mine.
The photograph comes first. The artwork grows from there.
