This artwork began with my own photograph, taken at Charleston, South Carolina. Back in the studio,I formed the original image through layers of digital editing and AI-assisted tools, developing the colour, texture and painterly character while preserving the people, place and composition I originally photographed.

How My Artwork Is Created
All of my artwork begins with a photograph I’ve taken myself.
I start with a real place I’ve visited, composing and photographing the scene through my own camera. Back in the studio, I work with that photograph through layers of digital editing and AI-assisted tools, refining colour, texture, light and detail until it becomes the finished painterly artwork you see here.
The technology is part of my creative process, but the photograph, artistic direction and final selection are mine.
The photograph comes first. The artwork grows from there.
